Our Founder:
Addison P. Berry
Addison P. Berry is an operator and investor with a track record of building and scaling service-based businesses. Raised in Detroit by a family of entrepreneurs and ministers, he brings a values-driven approach to leadership grounded in discipline, integrity, and long-term thinking.
Most recently, Addison played a key leadership role in scaling a national residential energy company, where he led growth strategy, built out partner channels, and helped launch operations in new markets. His work spanned strategy, sales, and operations, giving him firsthand experience with the complexity of growing a high-touch, service-based platform at scale.
Earlier in his career, Addison worked as a management consultant and led strategic initiatives at a large electric and gas utility, where he built a strong foundation in business development, operational execution, and leading and scaling teams.
Addison lives in Washington, D.C., and is a mayoral appointee to the D.C. Police and Fire Retirement and Relief Board. He also serves on the boards of organizations focused on youth mentorship and international energy access. Addison holds a J.D. from Howard University School of Law, a master’s degree from Harvard University, and a B.S. from Florida State University.
